IN MEMORY OF CHRIS J McCANDLESS

Justin Parker calls a bus in North Carolina home in much the same fashion Chris did while in the wilds of Alaska. This common thread led Justin down his own path of discovery and in the process he found a way to keep Chris’ name in the minds and hearts of travelers. So, whether you are a rubber tramp or leather tramp, watch the roads of North Carolina for the Adopt a Highway “In Memory of ChrisJ. McCandless.”

 

 

The Foundation has contributed $10,000 matching funds for the building fund of the GLOBE

 

 

 

 

There is a unique opportunity in Norfolk, Virginia to reach international students for Christ. There are over one thousand students from over one hundred countries - the best and the brightest - sent from their homeland to study at Old Dominion University. The plans are underway to construct a dormitory to house many of the these international students. The purpose being to help them navigate a foreign culture and to sow seeds for Christ with the hopes they will return to their homeland as ambassadors for their Savior.

 

 

 

On Saturday March 26th 2011, the Foundation in conjunction with the Globe, will be hosting a
walk/run around the Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
